Hi, im glad this forum has been opened, Can i ask Ajay, do councils actually pay the rents direct to us if i decided to go down that rout with me first property? or do the dss pay them and we try and get them to pay us??

you can get paid direct if you can get the tenant to say they cannot manage their finances.

Also, if you can show they are vulnerable then you can get paid direct.  Another thing is it take over 8 weeks to get paid so as soon as 8 weeks pass you say the tenant is in 8 weeks arrears and then they pay direct.

the other option is to buy in michigan as all of the rental is paid directly to the landlord or management company.
also you can have properties offered to you without having to pay a couple of thousands pounds for the right to see the spec sheet on the property.
