Hi Just bought my first buy to let, and the lady renting the place shall be claiming Housing Benefit. Would somebody here please give me a step by step guide about how to go about this. Do I need to go to housing office with her? How do I increase my chances of having rent sent to me? How long can I expect until I see some money from HB? Property is just outside Glasgow.
Go to www.llha/rents read up on 30thpercentile i always have a guarantor when i deal with dss tenants. Have a look look a round the site it's very informative any question call the local council obviously data protection wont allow you to ask tenants details.good look
