Hi Ajay,

What's the most you can raise on a BTL property through 2nd charge loans?  I've phoned around and the consensus is 75% LTV.  I have a property mortgaged at 70% LTV through Northern Rock and want to raise more capital.  What are my options?

Thanks!

Richard

75% seems quite high! I have seen 55%.  if you can get 75% LTV 2nd charge on buy to let please share this lender as we could all do with knowing!

No idea, this was a conversation i had with a broker months ago.  As far as i remember he said that the maximum total loan coverage on a BTL is 75%. What i mean is that they'll advance 5% on top of my 70% mortgage which didn't seem worth it at the time.
